I live in central Florida and I try to fish every day of the week if possible, I have fished this way for 55+ years, I have owned all types of spinning reels over those years. This reel by far the best spinning reel I have owned. Its the smoothest reel, it casts like a dream and I have caught 40 inch redfish on it. I fish with artificial bait so I cast all day long, the ballistic does get air loops and the line lays even on the reel. I have two ballistics at this time and they are my go to reels. bar none.....
