Garmin GSD24

GSD24 is a team created by Garmin to achieve superior objectives, obtaining an adequate performance in deep water. With this equipment, you will obtain high resolution images due to the inclusion of your compatible plotter. It is an ideal device if you monitor dangerous terrain or visualize marine species under your boat.

In its configuration, the device has a double frequency of 50 and 200 kHz, a selectable transmission power (600 W, 1 kW and 2 kW, depending on the transducer). The external structure of the device is resistant because it is made of aluminum with the steel housing. This plastic transom mount can be used to replace the dual frequency transducers included with many Garmin units.

The 500 W 8-pin transducer has a maximum depth of 1,500 ft; an operating frequency of 50 to 200 kHz; a beamwidth of 40 to 10 degrees; and mounts on a 0 to 70 degree transom.

Transducer kit comes with installation instructions. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damaging your boat.

When using with a 6-pin Garmin sounder, transducer adapter cable part number 010-11612-00 is required.

The 6-pin transducer is preferred.
