Works well, very easy to use One thing you need to do as recommended by Gill is superglue the pins in place as they have a habit of popping out. This is the reason for only 4 stars

I am looking for a countdown race watch the has LOUD beeps. I tried the Ronstan, I can hardly hear it. Please tell me about the sounds of the Gill Race watch and Gill Regatta watch. Thank you.
Hello! the watch volume is 68 -70 dB at a distance of 10cm. Often the volume is limited by the waterproof casing of the watch, which can reduce the level of sound that can be emitted. Thanks for your question!
Great watch at a great price

Does everything a sailor needs, plus rolling starts for start boat duty. Large seconds readout for the last minute is great, as is power save mode if you’re just a weekend sailor. The only negative is that the LCD screen is only legible +/-45 deg from vertical in the 12-6 o’clock axis, no worries on the 9-3 o’clock axis.
