The Leatherman Surge is one of our two largest multi-tools; a real powerhouse, built with our largest pliers, longest multi-tool blades and easy-to-use locks.
A unique blade exchanger, large and small bit drivers and four outside-opening blades give you quick access to the tools you use most. The Surge was built for tough jobs and the hands that do them.
Features:
- All locking features means that every tool and knife on the body of the handle, with the exception of the plier head, will lock into place.
- Note that the Crunch; however, does feature both all locking tools and plier head.
- The all locking design enables the user to operate individual tools safely and effectively.
- By locking them into place when fully open, the user can put pressure on the implement while safely completing the job, before manually
unlocking the tool to stow it away.
- This secure ring is for attaching the tool safely and securely to a lanyard.

I used to go on camping trips on my motorbike, and the Surge is the tool I will take with me. It's a reliable, tough, durable and strong piece of well engineered multitool Leatherman made for when things get serious. Together with the ratchet driver and the bits you will use the most, it is the most complete kit you need on the go.

Multitool, 100%, robust, the cutting utensils are very sharp, ideal for survival, and daily tasks, the sheath that comes with it, I see it as very small in case you want to buy more accessories, bit kit, screwdriver extension etc, but It does not mean that it looks robust and resistant to all terrain, in my case I bought the xl cover, perfect for adding more brand utensils, a 100% recommended rating.

The multi-tool from the Latherman (Surge Black) is an original I was skeptical at first because idealo was only 1.5 stars but the quality is okay. The outer packaging is unfortunately just a plastic film as we know it from China but the inner boxes were undamaged. Shipping from Spain but everything worked out genre again

Received yesterday, average delivery time for Brittany, it leaves Spain to go to Lile, return to Rennes and go up to Brest, not very green all that ... but the product is perfect on condition of accepting its weight and ideally to wear it on the belt, the case has various settings as such. It is therefore robust, manoeuvrable since one hand deploys certain tools and is complete with its different sizes of screwdrivers, some of which can be supplemented by a kit of bits, such as saws ... To conclude; the product being faithful to the description made by Trekkinn, I recommend this product and this site.

Bought the Surge to replace my old Leatherman Blast. Definitely an upgrade and pleased with it so far. The one handed opening of the two main blades is great and so much easier now. Being able to swap out the saw blade for the file is a great addition as well so now I can just order a new saw blade if it gets damaged or blunted. I’m still to get all the bit accessories as it’s only supplied with one reversible bit which are the most common screw heads, the flat headed screw and the cross headed screw. Would have been nice to have a leather case supplied but the one it comes with seems pretty rugged and should last. Finally, the black finish is great, how durable it is I don’t know yet but still, it’s a great looking as well as functioning multi tool. Would I recommend this ? Most definitely and this was the best deal on trekkin by far. Delivery time was very good also, so I think I’ll be shopping here again.
