I ordered the red one , actually got the blue one instead , but I decided to keep it anyway , paired with a surfblaster 3 8000 reel and it casts like a dream fantastic rod

I set this rod up with my Akios 656CTM reel using 12lb mono. Primarily I use it to fish the surf for Pompano, whiting, reds, trout. Yesterday I took it over to the field and using a 4ounce pyramid sinker casted it about 20 yards further then my previous casts using another rod. I do think I can get more out of it but did only two casts. The first one was weakly done, the second one about 75%. Can't wait to get out on the surf to really open it up.

Excellent beautiful rod wherever you look at it with a very good finish, all you have to do is try it but there are no doubts that at first glance it is a very good product and very good features for distance casting. The shipment faster than normal for being the destination ARGENTINA.

Your picture shows a green penn tidal (100-225g) which is what I want but the item in my cart says that I will be ordering the Red PENN Tidal (100-300g). which I DO NOT want. Please clarify what I will get if I place this order.

The rod I purchased is 300g, so it is a red rod, but any other order is fine. The store image display is not appropriate.

Hello, I would like to know if you have this model, Prevail II surf of 3 pcs and 4.20 meters. It´s for surfcasting.

The rod is an ideal for estuary fishing. However, I have fished of rocks, cliffs and harbours with this rod. You may need a drop net for fishing the latter.

I bought the penn Tidal in red, 4.50m.Wg up to 300 grams and ideal casting weight 180 grams. Tidal blue WG up to 250 grams and ideal casting weight 150 grams.

What is the difference between the tidal red 453 100/250 gr and the 450 100/300 gr. Is the 300 gr less good for bite detection? Because I hesitate between the 2 which ones to advise me I fish for seabass in winter in the Atlantic Thank you

The more action, the more rigid wings and the less sensitive ppr, plus the more action allows you to throw heavier weights and thus go further... Both are good and recommended, choose L that best suits the weight of the lead you are throwing
