Product description Sea to summit eVent Compression Dry Sack 20L

A completely new concept in compression dry bags - there is no valve. This innovation uses an air-permeable base made of eVent® waterproof fabric, which allows air to be pushed out of the sack, but wont allow water to get back in. Suitable to keep contents dry in any wet situation where the bag is not submerged.

Features:

- Unique compression idea - allows air to be pushed out to compress, but water cant get in because of the waterproof, air permeable eVent® fabric base
- Rugged 70 D nylon body & lid
- Waterproof seams - double stitched and tape sealed
- Roll top Hypalon; closure with lid and 4 straps evenly compresses and maintains compressed size
- Reinforced stitching on all stress points
- Pull handle on the bottom
- Super compact and very light
- Proper Use: Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water cant get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon® strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle.
- Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric.
- Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be &double bagged; (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered.
- Not intended for situations where dry sack will be submerged under water.

an excellent compression bag, the Marmot Trestles Elite Eco 0 sleeping bag compresses better than the standard bag so that there is room in the lower compartment of the backpack for various small things (earlier, in the regular compression bag of the sleeping bag, I barely climbed).

light, strong, reliable germ. This is where I put everything I need to sleep besides my sleeping bag. can be transported in a kayak in the trunk. just can not be used as a pillow, because air comes out :)

Great waterproof compression bag. As usual - the highest quality of the brand. This is the best you can buy for the money, for example, to protect your down sleeping bag from moisture, or just to protect things on water trips. Take it and you won't regret it! If you find fault, I would like a less easily soiled shade of the outer fabric.

The membrane makes this bag just magical! Just put your things in it, close and squeeze, the air will come out by itself!! Amazing solution.. Bought two 20 L bags for myself and for a friend, the perfect size for the bottom compartment of your hiking backpack. Ideal capacity: It fits my large sleeping bag (at -5 degrees), and all bedding (a set of thermal underwear for sleeping, an inflatable pillow, socks for sleeping), and this is not the limit, everything is pulled together with 4 straps in a circle evenly without distortion very convenient and compact. The fabric is strong and light, absolutely not wet.

If you need to compress air out of for instance a sleeping bag, the addition of compression straps on this bag is great. On ´normal´ eVent bags air can not only be pushed out of the bag, but would also be pulled into it, if the content is temporarily compressed yet allowed to expand. The 20 liter version was however a bit oversized for the purpose - the result being an annoyingly round ball ...

I have both 20 and 30 liter version. I am using both on my Western Mountaineering PUMA GWS Sleeping bag. And it compresses the bag a lot. 4-side straps are far better than 3-side ones. If you just need the compression and not care about the waterproof, go for the ultra sil versions. they are lighter than waterproof model.

Hi, what size is this compression bag? In the title it says 6L, but when selecting size I can only select .20L.

Hi, what I have is a size L the measures are 60 cm and a circumference of 24 cm., From empty before compressing it. I use it to pack a very voluminous feather sleeping bag and it works great. When you compress it, the air will make it a bit difficult to get out, in my opinion it is normal since the membrane must also resist any water. This title can be really misunderstood. Hello, in the title of the ad it says 6L and later in the description it says that its volume is 20 liters. In the rest of the waterproof bags from the same Sea To Summit Sac Sec EVent Compression series (10 L, 14 L, 30 L...) does the numbering X+ L match its actual volume, is this bag 6 liters or 20 liters?
