I have 2 rods of this model and they are NOT spiral. It´s a fabulous rod but it doesn´t have spiral guides. I believe there is another similar model but that specifies this type of rings. But the rod is excellent.

Halo, no it does not have spiral rings, but it´s very good rod for trolling and live bait.

Not this model; I at least have the 8-16lbs and they are not spiral. I don´t know if there will be another model, but I think it will specify it among the technical characteristics. I´m sorry. But the cane is magnificent and its use produces great satisfaction. I am delighted fishing saws with it!
