Automatic firing head with water-dissolving cartridge or capsule : We advise you to check the cartridge or capsule if your lifejacket has been stored in a damp atmosphere and,
- as a safety precaution, we recommend the replacement of the cartridge/cylinder at the beginning of the sailing season.

I tested both by hand release and by water contact (hydrostatic unit). Now I needed a replacement. I was very positively surprised by the quick release in the water. Both functions work perfectly. Caution! The seller just posted a false picture of the hydrostatic unit. This is confusing and customer service also gives incorrect information. I was only able to test its accuracy upon receipt. This is a downer with this type of safety equipment.
