I bought the rod for lakes and small rivers after I broke my Daiwa Aird 562 ulfs. I use it with 500 Mitchel reel. So far I do not know which rod is better, but no regret for sure

Pointed action, good rings, perfect for moving surface lures. I'm having a pipe taking bass and good horse mackerel (the ones with the side yellow line that throw a lot) at dawn with small sunken minnows of 6 or 7 gr. and surface lures. You can freely cast lures up to 10 gr. The only one but that can be found is that the connection of the 2 sections is not by spigot. Now for a 1000 size cart with a ratio of 6: 1 and I will have a very, very "fixed" team
