First impressions: Feels like a very high-quality fishing rod. The blank is quite stiff with fast action and a behavior that feels good in the hand. The guides are fuji Alconite, which was something I was thrilled to find out! Those are excellent guides. The balance of this model is not good. The rod is top-heavy for a rod of this price range. Also, the weight is 8 grams more than what was specified. 94g instead of 86g.
