I looked for MX8, but it was not sold anywhere. I finally found the MX7 on this site and ordered it. I was relieved that it arrived safely. Mitchell's full control MX8/MX7 lever drag system is very wonderful, and it is an original mechanism that no Japanese manufacturer has adopted. I hope you will continue to sell them.

Could you explain to me so that I could understand the operation of the trigger of this reel and what it is used for and what are its advantages?

On the back of the reel is the drag... You set your drag to your desired level. The trigger is for adding more drag if required.... For example, setting the hook or you caught a bigger fish that expected... It helps control the fight... The trigger adds more drag when squeezed and back to normal drag setting when let go. I have 2 of these reels... I think they are great... But, the 2000 version does not hold alot of line.
