There is no better case to keep your precious fishing rods safe. Obviously it takes up more space (than a soft one) and does not deform inside the car bonnet. Inside it you can also store some equipment in the pockets and in the rod seats, obviously soft stuff... I hope one day to find a version for 3 or even 4 mounted rods.

I am very happy with the Nomura Hard Carryall Case. Sturdy so I can safely transport my expensive rods. Hard material so I can attach to board my boat. Only to recommend.

I am considering the Nomura case for transporting rods abroad via airplane and interested to know of the cases' ability to withstand tough treatment by baggage handlers and still protect the rods inside. Are they lockable and how much do the cases weigh?

I think this is currently the best option for transporting fishing rods. It is lightweight but not lockable.
