Not my first purchase of Raymarine Wind Instruments PCB. Glad able to buy it. Otherwise would end up buying completely new Wind Vane arm assembly. A must have spare to carry onboard.

Great to be able to replace the PCB. The original failed and cost to replace is exorbitant. With nothing else wrong with the system it was a quick and easy fix. Simply unscrew the top of the unit. Unplug the old board and plug in the new unit from Waveinn. Back up top and all working perfectly

Is the round pcb board located in the transducer at the top if mast? If so do you have instructions?

Yes the PCB is located in the Weather Vane at the top of the mast, very easy to change a board purchased the end of wire to connect the PCB

Yes. The round PCB board is located in the wind vane at the top of the mast. The base of the vane unscrews to reach the board. The board is a plug in connection. Pay attention to how you remove the bad one. The new one has to be oriented and seated properly in the base before you screw it back together.

The PCB is in the sensor at the top of the mast. Removal is easy. Remove the cups (single screw) and unscrew the top half of the sensor shell (anti-clockwise). The PCB is just clipped in. There is a small connector on the bottom side that will need to be disconnected. Replacement is the opposite of removal.

This PCB fits wind transducer R28170. It rotates faster than ST50 transducer and will give a reading with ST 50 instrument head 30% too high.This cannot be adjusted out on ST50.

My 2001 Raytheon ST60 analogue wind slave repeater unit indicates correct AWS and TWS on the digital display but the analogue needle rotates continuously without stopping. Will this PCB fix it? Is soldering required? Would it be better to buy a replacement instrument? Thank you.
