The new Simrad Cruise is the most intuitive chartplotter available. Taking ease of use to a new level, Simrad Cruise is a chartplotter first and depth finder second – offering reliable GPS navigation at an affordable price. Free from complicated fishing-specific sonar and networking features, with Simrad Cruise you won’t need to master complex electronics -- simply turn on your display and go.
Pre-loaded with a worldwide basemap, the sunlight viewable display comes with a mounting bracket and transducer. Installation is easy, requiring only a power and sonar cable – eliminating the hassles of networking multiple modules and pulling miles of cable. The user interface is controlled with a rotary dial and keypad, ensuring smooth navigation through menus and provides the vital information needed for a safe and enjoyable time on the water – speed, depth, GPS location, course, battery level and temperature information. The included CHIRP Sonar transducer provides excellent automatic depth tracking for worry-free operation without the need for fine tuning or pre-programming. Pre-selected display views consist of: chart, sonar, navigation, chart/sonar, chart/navigation and sonar/navigation.
Available in 5-, 7- and 9-inch versions, Simrad Cruise can be dash-mounted or bracket-mounted to fit any boat’s helm station. Take your charts to the next level with a wide selection from C-MAP® and Navionics® for increased level of detail and C-MAP® Easy Routing. Amazingly beautiful and well-made device for this price. Easy to use, perfectly meets all my expectations. If I use it in an old wooden kite from 1970, unfortunately the sonar probe cannot stick in the wooden cover, wood absorbs the pip. I made a small, light rustproof construction with the probe at the bottom at the place of the lateral flotation slide motor and can now screw it on there if necessary, works perfectly. Broken mast and sheet to everyone from Lake Constance.

So bloody cheap, brilliant, I’ll buy from here again, Waveinn, first time I had anything from them, if you don’t mind a day or two extra waiting time as my item did, it’s is well worth the saving. I’d say I’d save £100.00 because they found me the deal

Does it come with charts included and if not how much extra would the charts be?

It comes with the basic world nautical chart, which does not contain precise information about depth, hazards, buoys, etc. For this, you will need to purchase Navionics or C-MAP separately. Navionics costs around US$ 250.

Hi, just wanted to check. You mention that installation is easy, requiring only a power and sonar cable. Are these cables included as well? In case yes with which length? I have a plotter that I'm replacing with this, but naturally this cabling might be quite different and maybe not usable at all.
