The vise base is too light for tying stability as the whole thing moves around the table when tying. I contacted Stonfo explaining the concern (I'm not the first) and their solution was to purchase their C-Clamp and clamp the vise to the table.

Excellent quality fly tying vice and very competitively priced, genuinely wasn't expecting the vice to be so well engineered, perfectly packaged , compact and ideal for travel use. Great service from Waveinn ,and considering the vice was sent from Spain to Scotland it was delivered remarkably quickly. I am one very happy customer.
