The data communication capability along with a built-in GPS receiver allows the SATMATE i60 to transmit information about the location, date and time of boats and vehicles.

Detection and monitoring functions can be configured by the user for predetermined time or event. They can also be activated remotely from the ´Service and Control Center´.

Both internal and external panic buttons are available in case of emergency. When a panic button is activated, the SATMATE i60 immediately transmits a pre-determined SOS message that includes time, GPS coordinates to a maximum of three pre-set emergency contact contacts.
